This statue of Jijabai Bhonsle and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as a young boy was installed at Jijamata Udyan in 1992. The statues are made of pure bronze and are around 9 feet high. In 2022, a copper meghdambari (royal umbrella) was placed over the statue by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation at a cost of ₹43 lakhs.

The company was headed by the grandson of founder Pallonji Mistry (1929-2022), also named Pallonji Mistry, until 2012, when he announced his retirement and the succession of his son, Shapoor Mistry.
Reliance Foundation launches the first ever batch of 2022-23 PGP (Post Graduate Programme) at Jio Institute in the month of July. The Institute launched two programs Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and Digital Media & Marketing Communication in its initial phase. The inauguration event of Jio Institute was held on 20th July and was attended by Chancellor Dr. R.A. Mashelkar, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Dipak Jain, and Director Dr. Palak Sheth of Jio Institute.
